Procton FAQs

  1. How can the slider help you?
The Slider may seem like an accessory at first glance, but it can save you a lot of headaches in the future.
They have the function of protecting the bike in a slide, but they also end up protecting the rider, because the point of contact between the bike and the ground will be the slider.

  2. What types of sliders does Procton have?
Procton was a pioneer in bringing the “S” damping system slider, our first slider line launched on the market, this slider later evolved into the rotating nylon slider, which rotated but did not have a shock absorber, and these models evolved into the F1 and S1. And to make it even better, Procton manufactures “impact heads” in different colors, and in addition to protecting your motorcycle, you can make them personalized!

  3. Why should you purchase a Procton slider?
Our sliders come with a shock absorber so that, in the event of a fall, the impact is not hard and dry.
Moving on to our F1 line, it was born with a design based on the curves of formula cars and has 2 main differences, if we compare it with the S1: design and has the rotation system in the impact head, allowing the slider to rotate when it comes into contact of the soil, allowing wear to be more homogeneous.

  4. Are all sliders the same?
No, as we have already seen, there are different models of sliders to adapt to the most diverse types of motorcycles, this shows the importance of this part, and, in addition, as the sliders can be fixed in different locations, the designs also end up being different for each other.
