I purchased the MaxRacing MAX20 steering damper for a Suzuki GSX-S 1000 GT directly from your official website under the buyer name Natascia Gargiulo.
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a severe manufacturing and design defect in the mounting kit provided, which has compromised the integrity of my motorcycle and posed a serious safety risk:
1. Part Incompatibility: The bracket (staffa) meant to be installed under the ignition switch does not fit the GSX-S 1000 GT model properly. It lacks any grip, has completely loose tolerances, and fails to lock into place.
2. Bolt Failure: Due to the lack of proper fitment and the poor quality of the hardware provided, the heads of the bolts supplied in the kit snapped off completely during installation, without any excessive torque being applied. The remaining part of the bolt is now stuck inside my motorcycle's original thread.
Since this is a critical safety component that directly impacts the motorcycle's steering, this product failure could have caused a catastrophic accident.
Given these circumstances and in accordance with consumer rights, I demand:
